MaineShare's Virtual Hike and Bike! MaineShare is excited to announce our 3rd year of the smaller footprint Hike and Bike. Once again we will hold our Hike and Bike in a virtual format that will save time, paper, fuel and offer more flexibility for our participants. What is a Virtual Event? Start and finish your hike or bike anywhere you want! Our virtual Hike and Bike gives you the opportunity to join in from you own backyard or on your favorite trail or ride. Step-by-Step Guide to a Virtual Event
Going to be on vacation during this time? Don't worry you can participate from anywhere! The first 15 people to register will receive a pair of tickets to MOFGA's Common Ground Country Fair in September!
Smaller Footprint Lots of resources saved! (Fuel for participants, volunteers and staff; fuel for sag wagons and meetings; paper for brochures and flyers; envelopes, stamps and mailings to participants; paint to mark routes; paper plates, napkins, cups and disposable cutlery used at event; bottles for bottled water, fabric and printing of t-shirts; ice for coolers; time, time, time!)
